My name is Jamie Johnson, and I love color, texture, and balance. My design background includes professional floral design, paper art, fiber arts, altered art of various types, digital design, photography and various types of jewelry design. I like being able to make tangible representations of my inspirations, whether its a feeling, a place, a smell or a memory. Because of that, it is easy to see what my favorite things are. I love nature and the outdoors, I love things that remind me of the best of the changing seasons, and I love listening to live music while sipping coffee and knitting a pair of gloves.

I started pinning my mom’s patterns when I was about 7 or 8. She would entrust me with laying the fabric out properly and finding the right size lines. I would then pin it down and cut out all the pieces including the linings. When I got into high school, I would do everything but put in the zipper, including making my own graduation dress. Since then I have handmade everything I can get my hands on including my own wedding invitations and centerpieces, fresh floral designs, greeting cards, graphic designs and now jewelry and knit items. I have been selling my designs for four years at shows, boutiques and on-line.
